Royal Caribbean Brilliance of the Seas

Part of the Radiance Class, Brilliance of the Seas joined the Royal Caribbean family in 2002.
The food, entertainment, staff and the ship were all amazing.
The Brilliance of the Seas is scheduled for a dry dock refurbishment in April 2025
THE JOURNEY BEGINS
MB Travel Adventures has the opportunity to join the Brilliance of the Seas on a 7-day voyage from the Port of New Orleans. This was a Western Caribbean sailing that called on Cozumel, Costa Maya and Grand Caymen.
Embarkation at the Port of New Orleans was one of the quickest I have ever experienced.
Brilliance of the Seas pulled away from the dock right on time and the journey down the Mighty Mississippi River commenced.
THE MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI
A very busy river, the voyage took the ship past cargo ships parked in long lines waiting for their turn to berth.
THE ATRIUM
The atrium onboard spans decks 4 to 12 and allows guests a birds eye view of the activities in the atrium. The R bar is located on deck 4 along with Guest Services and the Shore Excursion Desk.
THE LIDO (POOL DECK)
The pool deck was a happening spot. Featuring 2 hot tubs, the main pool, pool bar, ping pong tables and a smoking section, it was the center of activities onboard.
A HIDDEN OASIS - WITH AMAZING VIEWS
Located on deck 5 all the way forward is the helipad. This is open to guests as long as the weather cooperates. Benches are available for relaxing. Happened to see a pod of dolphins swimming along the bow of the ship during a visit!
SOLARIUM
Located next to the main pool area is the adults (18+) only Solarium. This covered space features a pool, hot tub, Solarium Bar and the Park Cafe.
The Park Cafe offers breakfast bites, lunchtime snacks and late night snacks including pizza and sandwiches till 2a.
MAIN DINING ROOM
The main dining room spans 2 decks ( 4 and 5). Traditional dining is located on deck 5 and my time dining is located on deck 4.
If you have My Time dining it is recommended that you still make reservations ahead of time, as the wait time can be long on certain nights.
The Main Dining Room also served breakfast daily and lunch on sea days.
FITNESS & SPA
The jogging/walking track is located on deck 12. 6 laps is equal to 1 mile. There is a decent size fitness center as well on deck 12.
The Vitality Spa also has a steam room and sauna which are free for guests to use. The entrance is located in the spa on deck 11.
DINING WITH A VIEW
The Windjammer Buffet always had plenty of seating inside, but did you know about the outside area?
Amazing views await at the Aft of the ship. When you are in the Windjammer, exit to the back of the buffet and you will find the outdoor cafe!
If you are thirsty, you can also grab a drink at Rita's Bar on the Port side of the Windjammer.
ADVENTURE BEACH
The young ones can enjoy adventure beach, located on Deck 12. They even have their own waterslide!
FAIRWAYS OF BRILLIANCE
Challenge your family and friends to a round of mini golf at Fairways of Brilliance located on Deck 13
THE SPORTS COURT
Located on deck 12 is the Sports Court. Take part in a game of basketball, pickleball or other fun cruise activities
CAFE LATTE-TUDES
All of your favorite coffee drinks and pastry's! The coffee is Starbucks and is included with the Deluxe Beverage Package.
THE SCHOONER BAR
A Royal Caribbean signature bar, the Schooner Bar, located on deck 6 features entertainment and a great drink menu.
FANCY A GAME OF POOL
Enjoy a game of pool at sea with one of the special pool tables located in the Colony Club on Deck 6 aft. These pool tables move along with the ship, to provide a smooth game.
TEST YOUR LUCK
Located on deck 6, the Casino Royale features slot machines, table games and the quarter pusher game.
Parts of the casino do allow smoking.
KING & COUNTRY PUB
Located on deck 6 forward is the King & Country Pub. Enjoy cocktails while watching sports on the tv's around the bar. The pub also featured live entertainment in the evenings.
There is a dart board that is free to use as well
CINEMA
Yes...there is a cinema onboard Brilliance of the Seas. Located on deck 6, just outside the King & Country Pub. It features stadium seating and have movies scheduled throughout the day.
THE PACIFICA THEATRE
Enjoy the amazing shows onboard in the Pacifica Theatre. The theater is also utilized for shore excursion departures
STARQUEST - VIKING CROWN LOUNGE
Located on deck 13 is Starquest nightclub and the Viking Crown Lounge. A quiet space during the day, and a lively spot with a rotating bar at night.
ROCK CLIMBING WALL
Located on deck 13, climb and experience amazing views!
